Class Three
Class Three teaches Lower Key Stage Two covering years Three and Four.
The classes teach over a two-year rolling programme with 2022/2023 working on Year A.

. Our Learning This Year
History and Geography
We started the year finding out about great sweep of prehistory from the stone age, through the bronze and and into the iron age. This included a fantastic trip to Cheddar Gorge and experimenting with stone age natural materials in art. More recently, we have been exploring the Roman invasion of Britain, including a recent visit to the Roman fort at Isca.
Adventures at Viney Hill
Year 4 have been lucky en0ugh to participate in a three day residential trip with other Year 4 pupils from Primary Quest. We visited Viney Hill Christian Adventure Centre in the Forest of Dean and had an inspirational time taking part in a range of outdoor and adventurous activities, from caving and archery to fire lighting and den building and much more besides. A highlight was the cosy campfire under the parachute one very wet evening.
Learning Highlights
Other highlights so far this year include fantastic science experiements, decorating pottery for Christmas, taking part in Open the Book Worship and learning the recorder together. We have also enjoyed participating in Experience Easter Outside, joining in with e Panathlon and performing poetry in English.
